And in this entry, I would like to talk about how (false?) the gmail spam filter feature. So far so good - gmail NEVER missed to trap any spam that tried to clogged my mailbox to the "spambox". It's true, since I first started using it by 2003, I can only see like one or two spam email enters my mailbox - the other thousand, straight to the spambox! But what suprised me today is that - I managed to see one legit email sent to the spam box. This is not the common this-is-not-spam-mail case. Here's the story. One day i was clearing out my gmail spambox. But it's a force of habit for me to raincheck the spambox first before I clicked the "delete all spam messages now" link. There's one (spam) email that attractes to my attention:
Hey, i thought this was legit! By the way, maybe it's some sort of phishing mail? ruled out! Because it's from legit source of email, no script, nada! ...or gmail already started to mark my friendster account update alert mail as spam? So I looked for latest email of the same friendster alert email (later than the marked-as-spam version). Here, I found it. Weird huh? How google did it? This is the message details: Download message detail for marked-as-spam Comments (0)

The name is Mohd Izuardi Ibrahim. He is a proud Malaysian who loved to spend his quality times with his beloved equipments and personal computer. He enjoys messing around with those cables and that hardwares, sometimes he is crazy enough to code complex scripts, and there are few times he plays around with those lazy system administrators over the internet.

I simply love google, I really do. Whatever services they offer or anything new cames up - I will definitely try it. One of my personal favourite (and I used it practically everyday) is GMAIL.
