Last friday is the last day Jo would be in Umobile as a staff. He's moving (perhaps) towards a better opportunity. Good luck dude.
Looking back after a year and a half me and my uncomfortable10 members graduated from UPM at May 2007, our achievement should be considered "acceptably impressive". I mean, the job we secured, and the portfolios we hold (plus the salary in which many wouldn't believe we fresh graduate manage to obtained. One of us already reached five figures on the playslip. I would not want to talk more about this) is far beyond what most typical graduate obtained during their first year in industry Here's the list of what we have been so far.... at the dawn of 2008. |

Let's recap what happens today (and this goes almost everyday) right after office hours. Tea time - With Tengku Khairul Shah at Oldtown BTS. Movie time - With Arafat and David at GSC BTS. Wasted 2 hours on Quantum of Solace. On-call time - Right in the middle of movie - as usual - killing my socially awkward quality times. Time wasted 1 hours Unplanned lepak time - With Irwan Shah and Imran right after on-call time, talking craps of works at Zul Yahya's nearby Shah Alam stadium. Wasted time - priceless. Sleep time - Past 12. |

**Updated with more photos Last Friday is our day - again - where uncomfortable10 reunites.
It's very difficult to gather all us 10 in one place. So last week arafat and I made a decision - let's celebrate arafat and jo's birthday this week. So as usual, after long emails and members availability lookup table is filled up - it's decided that we gathers on 14 November 2008 at One Utama Shopping Complex. Our dinner that night is Korean Buffet at Seoul Garden. Participants list is 7 out of 10 uncomfortablers plus one guest - Athiruddin, our junior that never missed out hanging with us 10. |

I simply love google, I really do. Whatever services they offer or anything new cames up - I will definitely try it. One of my personal favourite (and I used it practically everyday) is GMAIL.
And in this entry, I would like to talk about how (false?) the gmail spam filter feature. So far so good - gmail NEVER missed to trap any spam that tried to clogged my mailbox to the "spambox". It's true, since I first started using it by 2003, I can only see like one or two spam email enters my mailbox - the other thousand, straight to the spambox! But what suprised me today is that - I managed to see one legit email sent to the spam box. This is not the common this-is-not-spam-mail case. Here's the story. |

If you were my friends, you might heard from me of those all lucky breaks that I had had before - from carelessly left my handphone or wallet (with few hundreds and credit cards in it) unattended at "kaki lima" restaurants, cybercafes, and even at gym - and yet I always get back everything in one piece.I mean, there will be always nice people who will found my things and keep it safely or return in back to me.
On 28th October 2008, I guess all those lucky breaks come back to me. Only this time, it's not wallet or handphone - but it's my car. |

It was last Friday when my old friend buzz me thru Yahoo Messenger asking me whether I have any reference for Cake PHP framework.
I don't have the references in my laptop at the moment - but I do know where to find one easily. With the aid of google as my search engine, I could find the right references in only a few seconds thru my favourite ebook site - flazx.com So I typed in the appropriate keywords inside the google search bar on my firefox. Which is "cake php site:flazx.com" ..but instead, i mistyped it as "cake php siteLflazx.com" |

After about a year hosted under domain izuardi.net (in which I didn't manage to renew it on time) and was left dormant under few others NO-IP's subdomain, this blog finally has it owns domain, again. On 18th November (this morning), I don't know what makes me to login to my paypal and make payments for this domain.
For whatever it worths, now that I have a proper domain and once again were published to public, I have every reason in this world to update it frequently. |

Things doesn't always happens the way I expected to be, always has... and now it's time for me to move on - 1st November 2007 marks the calendar where I joined a new 3G player in town - U Mobile Sdn Bhd, as a network security engineer supporting Umobile's IP infrastructure.
I was glad for this move. Actually this movement is planned 3 months back - yes, that's the period of notice I have to give to XYBASE should if I decided to tender my resignation. Everything happens for a reason - incompatibility. |

Today is the day where I officially started my career as a professional after my graduation - and this also the day of the date where I marked my calendar with "the first time I get stuck inside an elevator after living for 23 years!". Let's get back to the elevator part later.
Working in XYBASE MSC (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a local SI with acceptable portfolios nationwide and worldwide as a software engineer is a fresh start for me . Armed with a strong fundamental in programming, I hoped to have a long term career with this company (should if there is no problem, which I hoped so not) |

Setelah lebih dua tahun aku mulai menulis panduan cara memasang PC secara langkah demi langkah .. pejam celik pejam celik rupa-rupanya sudah jauh ketinggalan zaman tutorial itu. But yet, aku masih percaya tutorial tu masih lagi relevan sehingga waktu entri ini ditulis.
Haha, yeah. Actually aku dah sedar artikel tu dah outdated setelah beberapa bulan lepas aku siapkannya. Tapi apa yang aku boleh buat sangat? Perkembangan Komputer Peribadi harini sangat-sangat rapid, tak seperti dulu lagi. Kalau dulu perkembangan boleh cakap macam graf di atas la... double for each year.

The first time I spoke the word " Beowulf Clustering" to my lecturer when he asks me what am I going to do for my small project, frankly I don't even know what "clustering" is... but I sure do know i've heard those words before... and I know it's gonna be fun. Yeah, I do have fun (not to mention the horrible details I have to go through before getting to know what clustering really is and how it works..). There are many (damn complicated and yet tricky) way that you can setup your linux clustering, including Sycld Rock Clustering, but I'd love to share to you one of the easiest method to setup Linux Clustering (true, it takes me only about 5 minutes to bring up the cluster), that is by using the ParallelKnoppix. |

Harini masa aku godek cari CD movie yang lama-lama, tetiba aku terjumpa sebuah CD Games lama, iaitu Viper Racing keluaran Sierra.
Perghh...teringat zaman masa mula-mula adik aku beli PC Game ni, time tu sekitar tahun 1998 (aku form 2) tak salah aku. Satu-satunya komputer aku masa tu tak mempunyai graphics card, and happens pulak ni among the 1st game yang kerek nak kena ada graphics card baru nak jalan. Time tu zaman kegemilangan graphics card cap 3D Voodoo FX. Time tu pulak happens aku tak mampu memiliki graphics card tu sebab harga dia sebijik RM300 (zaman tu RM300 dah banyak, aku pulak budak sekolah yang 'miskin'...zaman skang aku dapat tahu budak form 2 dah beli graphics card RM1300 sebuah).
